MONOPRINTING
The monoprinting technique I use involves drawing onto paper that is lying directly on an inked surface which produces an image on the other side. I use this technique to draw an outline of the building and then go back into it with pens and ink. The result is a detailed and textural image. The picture is made of ink from the original monoprint and the marks applied afterwards.
I often add a hint of colour with acrylic paint.
